School Profile

Jacksonville Christian Academy began on August 20, 1977 as a ministry of the First United Pentecostal Church to provide children with the opportunity to obtain an education in a safe, Christian atmosphere. It is dedicated to enriching the lives of all students through the influence of its Godly staff and their teachings.

We moved to Jacksonville from St. Augustine on September 10, 1982 to assume the pastoral of the church. The church and school were located on Ramona Blvd. until 1986 when the church purchased the current property on Normandy Blvd. A portable building was used to house the school until the current church was finished in 1987. The school enjoyed that facility until God blessed us with a beautiful building in September 2010.

Through the years, God has blessed the school and allowed us to see continual growth and progress. JCA is an established institution in this city and has touched many lives through the years. We thank God that we have celebrated 35 years and pray that we can continue to be blessed to have the freedom to teach children with wisdom and guidance from God.
